Tasha Tudor, an award-winning author and illustrator of nearly 100 books for children, is known for her gentle writing style, her realistic soft-color illustrations, and her intricately detailed borders. This sampler, adapted for cross stitch with permission, was part of the bedroom decor of the miniature dollhouse Tasha built for her beloved characters, Captain Thaddeus Crane and his wife, Emma Birdwhistle. This project reflects Tasha's love of everyday life, with its nostalgic reflection of days gone by.
