Tasha Tudor, an award-winning author and illustrator of nearly 100 books for children, is known for her gentle writing style, her realistic soft-color illustrations, and her intricately detailed borders. For the past three decades, The Posy Collection has been interpreting our major historical sites, prominent natural wonders, and selected graphic arts in cross stitch. This kit is a result of a combination of their efforts aimed at "preserving our story in stitches." This scene from Tasha Tudor's delightful watercolor, "Homeward Bound," is adapted for cross stitch with permission. This project reflects Tasha's love of rural life, and would make a welcome addition to any home, with its nostalgic reflection of days gone by.
